As pastor of Truth Baptist Church, I first give God all of the praise for this momentous day. This year we celebrate 29 years of ministry service that Truth has provided this community and city. I have been blessed to be the pastor of this great ministry for 5 years; and every year--every day--that I serve here has been a blessing to me. It has not been easy, but it was all worth it. Last year, our founder and father of this ministry, Reverend Walter C. Walker, went on to be with the Lord. That was a hard thing for the whole congregation; but with the love and support of our members and supporters, we are still moving forward with the vision he established for this ministry under the direction and guidance of Our Heavenly Father. We ask that you continue to pray for our mother of this ministry, Mrs. Emma Walker, and the Truth family. I, on behalf of Truth Baptist Church, thank you for worshiping with us.
